Power Transformers
Kempston Power supplies transformers up to 50 MVA and 132 kV class, supported by an annual production capability of 7,500 MVA. To meet growing demand and expand our high-voltage offering, an additional 120,000 sq. ft manufacturing facility is currently under development, increasing capacity by a further 6,500 MVA and enabling production of transformers up to 160 MVA and 220 kV class by April 2027.
Our capabilities are demonstrated through major international and technical milestones, including the successful export of a 5 MVA, 150 kV class transformer to Indonesia in 2018, alongside the successful short-circuit testing of a 15 MVA, 66 kV class transformer. These achievements reflect our focus on engineering excellence, product reliability, and compliance with international quality standards.
