Distribution Transformers
Kempston Power offers a diverse product range of distribution transformers including:
- 3 phase, oil cooled transformers up to 5 MVA, 33 KV Class
- 1 phase, oil cooled transformers up to 100 KVA, 11 KV Class
- 3 phase, dry type (VPI Technology) transformers up to 1000 KVA, 11 KV Class
Our transformers undergo multiple rigorous quality checks at every stage and meet both BIS certification requirements and IS:1180 standards for level 3 transformers.
Power Transformers
Kempston Power provide up to 50 MVA and 132 kV class power transformers. These transformers have been utilised in landmark projects globally, including the export of 5 MVA, 150 kV class transformer to Indonesia, alongside successful completion of short-circuit testing on 15 MVA, 66 kV class transformer - demonstrating strong performance, reliability and adherence to international standards.

Kempston Power provides windfarm transformers - for onshore and offshore purposes - using both aluminium and copper foil winding technologies.
Designed to provide enhanced operational stability – able withstand voltage fluctuations of up to -15% low voltage/high current conditions, supporting reliable grid performance and continuity.
